Dear Everyone,
We are 3 weeks away from the distribution of back packs and supplies on Friday, August 24. To date, we have 37 with some supplies and pledges for more. I project a need for 450+. The following is a suggested list of needs:
back pack
book covers
crayons
crayon markers
erasers
glue sticks
high lighters
notebooks (small & large)
pencils (black)
pencils (colored)
pens
paper (notebook white)
paper (coloring)
surprise items
These will be accepted at the Enfield Food Shelf on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from noon – 4 PM and/or at St. Patrick’s parish hall Mondays through Fridays from 10 AM – 1 PM. Our families face daunting financial challenges as they prepare for the forthcoming school year. If each of us does a little, the effort will amount to a lot.
